Kražių Namai will be one of the first residential buildings in Lithuania with class A energy efficiency. The standard of this class is much higher than the currently required class B. The classes are distinguished by a marked difference in the thermal resistance of walls and roof. While class A is not yet mandatory for residential premises, but, according to the chairman of the Association of Building Certification Experts Council Audronė Kučinskienė, it is a wise decision. Indoor air quality and thermal comfort are some of the main indicators of living quality, let alone a lower operating cost and aesthetics.
