UAB Merko statyba has signed a contract with UAB Continental Automotive Lithuania

UAB Merko statyba has signed a contract with UAB Continental Automotive Lithuania for the construction of a production building in Kaunas district. The value of the contract exceeds 10 million. The works are planned to be completed in 2022 in the first half.

Among the projects that have been successfully implemented or are currently under construction, I could mention the office buildings Quadrum South and Narbuto 5, the development of the Phillip Morris Lietuva plant in Klaipėda, the hotels Neringa, Radisson Blu Lietuva, ibis Vilnius Center and other objects. According to the information disseminated by Invest in Lithuania, after more than 3 years of operation in Lithuania, Continental plans to increase production capacity in Kaunas and will soon start a development project with an investment of more than 90 million euros.

Construction will take place in two phases: first, additional space will be built on the north side of the plant, and during the second phase, the part of the plant on the east side will be expanded. Construction of the first phase will begin in the first quarter of 2021.
