First A energy category apartment building

Merko statyba UAB has finished designing and construction of the first A+ energy performance class multi-family residential building at the address Kražių g. 9, Vilnius.

The external envelopes of the building satisfy all A+ class thermal parameters. The achieved integrity indicator of the multi-family residential building is n50=0.48 n-1 (requirement n50=1.00 n-1). The building is installed with two-pipe heating system with floor heating. A separate floor heating temperature reduction unit and floor heating distribution manifold is designed in each apartment and commercial area. A mechanical heat recovery ventilation system has been installed for ventilation of the building’s premises. A separate ventilation recoverer has been installed for each apartment. Separate multi-split type freon cooling systems with separate external condensers for each apartment have been installed for each apartment or commercial area.

Copper insulated interconnection pipeline, power connection from each apartment to the external device have been installed and, if necessary, there is a possibility to install an air conditioning system in each apartment. LED lighting has been installed in an underground car park and landings. A network of video door phones has been installed in the building.
