In addition, AS Merko Ehitus has launched a reporting process, which enables everyone to report anonymously about the cases or suspicions about someone acting in conflict with legal acts, ethical business practices or the Code of Business Ethics of Merko. The business ethics handbook provides a more detailed overview of the incidents given as examples, and of conduct recommended by the company.
Employees, other parties cooperating with Merko and third parties can report their suspicions concerning incidents of unethical conduct via various channels. All the reports will be analysed by an independent cooperation partner. The reporting and information analysis system ensures security, confidentiality and, should the reporting party so wish, anonymity.
BEFORE SUBMITTING INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTEMPLATE THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS AND PREPARE TO ANSWER THEM AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE:

- When did the incident occur?
- Description of the event
- Parties related to the incident (names, positions)
- How did you learn of the incident?
- Do you have any proof of the occurrence of the incident (is anyone else aware of it, is there any documentary proof)?
- Do you wish to remain completely anonymous or give your contact details to the independent service provider so that they can contact you for further information or feedback? Your anonymity for Merko will also be guaranteed in this case.

Reports can be submitted via a 24/7 automatic hotline (+370) 5212 5022 in Lithuanian, English or Russian. The call is subject to the ordinary call fee and your report will be recorded by an answering machine. The report will be automatically forwarded to an independent third party, Ernst & Young, who will analyse the report.
Direct communication is very important and Merko supports trust-based relationships between employees and managers.
